Certificates & Honors

The WorldSkills Competition, organized by WorldSkills International (WSI), is the flagship global skills event, often referred to as the “Skills Olympics.”

Held every two years, the competition brings together outstanding young professionals from over 60 countries and regions to compete in nearly 60 technical and service-oriented skill areas, covering fields such as manufacturing and engineering, construction and building technology, information and communication technology, arts and fashion, as well as social and personal services.

Competition Highlights:

  • The 47th WorldSkills Competition was held in September 2024 in Lyon, France, featuring 59 official skill competitions and 3 demonstration events.

  • The 48th WorldSkills Competition is scheduled to take place in 2026 in Shanghai, China.

  • Each competitor must complete an intensive 4-day task, totaling 15–22 hours of hands-on work.

  • All participants are required to pass their national selection processes, such as the China Vocational Skills Competition, EuroSkills in Europe, or regional competitions in the Asia-Pacific.

The WorldSkills Competition not only serves as a platform to showcase national vocational education standards but also acts as a key driver for vocational education reform and industry collaboration.
